I am aware of wagers on the boy/girl status of our little one and I have to say the majority seems to be towards a girl... At my shower most seemed to think that the arrival would happen at ungodly hours of the morning mind you some thought Jr. would weigh in at over 8lb - ouch!!
All being well all shall be revealed in around 5 days or 120 hours minutes are far to scary to work out. Parenthood will officially start. As will grandparent-hood and aunty and uncle-hood, yes I may have made the last one up but it is easy to forget that this little being effects so many and so many can and will effect this little being. Ali could pass on her incredible ability to shop, Rob's sense of humour could rub off, Jon's love of the Grand Prix or Lisa's enviable ability to sleep could also be picked up by Doherty Jr. Amazing! (NB Lisa feel free to pass that sleep one on asap ;o) )
This week the baby's room/nursery has been completed. I shall let the photos speak for themselves. Pip and I are super pleased with the outcome and I am looking forward to spending much quality time in there with munchkin.
See you on the other side!

Wow 120 hours doesnt feel that long but I reckon we are as reasy as we can be. Aunty Lisas' sleeping skills would be very welcome, aunty Alis' shopping less so. Jill this blog so far has been an amazing tale and you've got to t minus 5 days with more humour and grace than anyone could ever have asked for. I'm so proud to be on this journey with you and to be about to discover how wonderful a mum you will be.
ReplyDeleteThat's it....Pip's comment has resulted in Mrs B having to get the tissues out again :-) Wishing you both lots of luck and love for whenever Baby D decides they are cooked and ready to come out of the tin!! You will both be fantastic parents and we cannot wait to meet Baby D xxxxxx
